Government Checks Are Being Eliminated
The federal government is transitioning away from paper checks.
An executive order signed on March 25, 2025 directs the federal government to stop issuing paper checks by September 30, 2025.
If you currently receive benefits by check, you will need a secure electronic deposit option.
